Overview

The jobs page allows you to select from a list of vacancies advertised by the organisation. The page does a set of checks and shows those live vacancies that meet the following criteria:

The date and time the job should be made visible on the web has arrived.
The job's closing date and time has not passed.
The job has been cleared for publication.

Heading	Advice on how to use
Department	Select an area of the organisation that you are interested in working in. As this is a system simulation only the very top levels of the organisation are shown in the drop down list.
Duration	This allows you to select the type of job that you want based on whether it is a permanent - open ended role or a temporary - fixed term role.
Job Type	In complex organisations jobs are often categorised into different types. This allows you to select the type of job that you are looking for.
Full or Part Time	This allows you to choose whether to see full time jobs, part time jobs or both.
Lower Salary	This allows you to select jobs above a particular salary.
Upper Salary	This allows you to select jobs that do not exceed a particular salary. Completing the lower and upper salary fields allows selection of a set of jobs within a salary range.
Search	The search button runs the query that you have developed from the details selected above. The set of jobs that are found will be displayed on the page for you to click on to get further details.
Reset	The reset button clears all of the values that you might have selected and if the search button is clicked all live vacancies will be displayed again.
