Laurence Cross

Laurence is experienced at working with the range of data structures from ordinary to very large databases containing multiple hundreds of millions of rows. Michael Hyer

Michael is a second / third line Application Support Analyst with many years of experience. Having worked in Further and Higher education, the latter in one of the UK’s leading universities and is currently working in the Housing sector for the last ten years. Practices the Microsoft Azure Dev-Ops Agile work methodology which focuses on incremental development and brings closer ties between the Operations and Developer teams.

He is responsible for fixing application and system issues and deals with any major incidents that arise to ensure that the organisation incurs minimal disruption and that system continuity is maintained. He also handles relationships with stakeholders and external application vendors and this includes application upgrades / updates.

Also maintains systems data integrity to ensure accuracy and consistency of processed data over the application’s lifecycle and in-line with GDPR guidelines. Other responsibilities include, fixing application and system problems, incident management (including major incidents) that may cause disruption to the application / service that business users depend on. This includes Change Management and Problem Management.
